Every Summer the Middle School Youth Group goes on a Mission Trip near Hershey, PA. It’s a week of fun, service, faith, and friends! Check out where we’re going this summer and sign up!

July 14-20, $350

Middle & High School Youth

Originally a ferry outpost town along the Susquehanna River, Harrisburg has served as the capital of Pennsylvania since 1810. Harrisburg is known as the “cultural, historical, entertainment, recreational, financial and governmental hub of Central Pennsylvania”. However, even with such accolades, Harrisburg has been a struggling community. Listed as the second most distressed city in the nation in the early 80’s, Harrisburg has been slowly working to renew its standing as a successful community. With a median income well below the national average, many families live in poverty. Your group will minister to struggling families and community members by working with the homeless, children and elderly.

Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8 are invited and encouraged to participate in our confirmation program. Confirmation is a three year program. Each year is a different theme.

Year 1 – Living Scripture
Year 2 – Living Faith
Year 3 – Living Lutheran

Game Night

Friday, October 21, 7-9pm.

Come on out, and bring a friend to Game Night. We’re playing games with pumpkins. We might roll ‘em, throw ‘em, eat ‘em, and light them on fire. You’ll have to come out to find out, exactly what goes down! Bring $3 bucks and of course some pals.

We will be playing at High Velocity, in Coram NY, with other Lutheran churches from around the Island. $55 cost includes Entrance Fee, Equipment Rental*, 500 paintballs, and lunch. Friends are welcome to attend. Please contact Nathan if you’d like to bring someone.

*You can use your own gear if you have it, but you CAN NOT use your own paintballs. Cost if you have your own gear is $45.

Middle School Youth Quake

January 6-8, 2012. Baltimore Maryland. $250

Join your friends from small group as we travel to Baltimore for a weekend retreat. You’ll hear some awesome bands and speakers, dig deeper during “break-out” sessions, hang with your friends, dance the night away, and grow in your relationship with God.
